Panhandle Privateers is a lawn care and snow removal company that operates in the rugged Nebraska Panhandle. The client wanted a brand that would stand out and speak to the adventurous spirit of the region, while also reflecting the dual nature of their business—offering landscaping services in the warmer months and snow removal services in the colder seasons. They envisioned a mascot that would evoke a sense of strength and reliability, with a touch of the historical imagery of privateers.
The primary ask was to create a logo and brand identity that would effectively communicate their year-round services. It also had to incorporate elements representing both lawn care and snow removal to clearly reflect their offerings. The challenge was to ensure that the design felt cohesive and bold, making a lasting impression.
The final design features a bold, adventurous privateer. The character is framed by elements representing the company’s core services: vibrant green grass for lawn care and a cool blue snow-capped design for snow removal. The color palette of strong blues and greens reinforces the company's reliability and expertise, while the playful illustration style keeps it approachable and memorable. This branding package has positioned Panhandle Privateers as a unique and recognizable service provider in their market.
