The challenge

FireBase is a long-standing Brazilian platform dedicated to supporting the Firebird database community. Its existing identity was built around a detailed phoenix illustration in green and yellow, carried strong symbolic meaning but lacked the flexibility and clarity needed for modern digital and physical applications.

The challenge was to evolve this recognizable logo without losing the trust, heritage, and community presence FireBase had established over the years, creating a system that could scale across platforms while remaining distinctly Brazilian.

The rebrand focused on breaking down the concept of the phoenix into a simplified, contemporary symbol. The color palette continues to reference FireBase’s Brazilian roots, balancing warmth and energy with a more controlled, professional expression.
